Britains’ First Champion Caramel Point Siamese
Imperial Grand Champion Abicasa TheGypsyBaron Pip bred by Frances Martin in Hampshire started life as a lilac point and as a lilac had much success winning some high awards. After a while it became apparent that his colour was changing and I made the decision to re register him with GCCF as a lilac based Caramel. He has had a glittering show career travelling many miles often staying in hotels where he always behaves impeccably. He has over the years won many prestigious awards culminating in becoming Britain’s first ever Caramel Point Champion. On June 1st 2007 Caramels were awarded Championship status and Pip gained his title by the end of the month. He is now at limited stud and is siring Champions, Premiers and Best In Show winners. HIS SUCCESSES INCLUDE BIS MALE KITTEN CHOCOLATE PINT SHOW 2003 BIS ASSESSMENT EXHIBIT NORTHERN SIAMESE 2003 BIS MALE ADULT SIAMESE CAT SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND 2003 BIS MALE ADULT SEAL POINT SIAMESE SHOW 2004 BIS ADULT CARAMEL AND APRICOT FEDERATION SHOW 2005 In 2004 he was awarded the Rylil trophy awarded to the Best Caramel Point of 2004 as voted for by the Federation
on Tuesday April 6th Pip was neutered. He may be making a return to the show bench later in the year. The decision to neuter him was not taken lightly as he still has a lot to offer the breed, but I felt that at almost 8 years old he had done his bit and deserved the chance to be a lap cat Well Done Pip a great achievement for his first show outing as a neuter , see show news page
